RELAX BUSINESS AND SERVICES COMPANY was initiated and created by TUTAMBUKA Emmanuel and certified by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) in 2022. Located in Nyagatare District, Ngarama Sector, Nyagicwa Cell, the company specializes in agricultural activities, focusing on the cultivation and value addition of pineapples.

The company currently manages 7 hectares of farmland, with plans to expand operations to 30 hectares over the next five years. RELAX BUSINESS AND SERVICES COMPANY aims to improve the pineapple value chain through a comprehensive approach that integrates production, processing, and distribution.

Key Components of the Business Plan:

  1. Pineapple Production:

    • Develop the company’s farm for high-yield pineapple cultivation.
    • Produce quality pineapple seedlings to distribute to smallholder farmers.
    • Support smallholder farmers in adopting modern farming techniques to improve productivity.

  2. Processing and Value Addition:

    • Establish a state-of-the-art processing plant for pineapples to produce juice, jam, powder, and dried pineapple products.
    • Utilize advanced processing and drying machines to ensure high-quality output.

  3. Irrigation System:

    • Set up a solar-powered irrigation system to pump water from marshland to the upland watershed, enabling gravity-fed irrigation on the company farm.
